PHOTOS: THE BOUNCING SOULS | HFTH6 12/26/13 | THE STONE PONY

The Bouncing Souls held their sixth annual Home For The Holidays concerts at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park and there was no shortage of holiday fun. What started as simple holiday shows six years ago has evolved into an all out multi-day festival with events throughout Asbury. This year Hurricane Sandy was on everyone's minds and a portion of all proceeds went towards relief for those effected.

For some reason my DSLR has bad luck at Bouncing Soul shows. Last show, it got kicked to pieces in the pit and this show decided to do some weird freeze up business so I had to fall back on my Leica D'Lux 6 point & shoot for most of these shots. That little camera is a wonder.

HFTH is pretty much the only Xmas tradition I keep, it's always good times with good people!

NEWS: ALL PRINT SALE PROFITS BENEFIT HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF

I am a product of the Jersey Shore. When she was a teenager, my mom packed 15 highschool girlfriends in a rented little one bedroom cottage every summer. As kids my sister and I would swim in the waves of Island Beach State Park until you get that sore feeling in your chest after being in the water too long, and in my twenties an hour and a half drive south for a Midway Cheesesteak seemed like a perfectly reasonable endeavor. Asbury Park formed the person I would come to be.

In effort to help in a small way, I'm donating all profits from any print purchase to Hurrican Sandy Relief. Let's help restore the shore. Rise up friends.

SHOP HERE: 8x12 prints are now $20 will ALL PROFITS going to Hurricane Sandy Relief. Thru 12/7/12.

PHOTOS: Gaslight Anthem: 12/11/09 Wellmount Theatre

Two pics from the show in Montclair, NJ. Beautiful old theatre now holding shows.

As for the band, I haven't seen them since the Stone Pony shows a couple of months back. They just get better and better. One new song and a cover of Tom Petty's "Refugee." Can't ask for much more than that, looking forward to the new album.

Not the biggest fan of this film stock though, eesh.
